VIDEO: Cave Of The Mounds Makes It Onto The BIG (Dome Theater) Screen!
Cave of the Mounds made an appearance in the movie Space Aliens: Looking for Life in the Universe, produced in an immersive dome format like the one at the Daniel M. Soref National Geographic Dome Theater and Planetarium at the Milwaukee Public Museum. The filmmakers were particularly interested in the springtails inside the cave, which are considered an example of an extremophile. Thanks to Producer Matt Wooten for including Cave of the Mounds in the movie.
